Mindscape

Joy

When I think about joy I imagine coming across a meadow full of wild flowers, unexpectedly.
I Can See the Heavens

This drawing looks at the connection between my  imagination and creativity.  The minds eye, reflected in my art, can see a universe of it's own creation.

Another vision of Joy (left) memorialising the day my doctors told me that I would not be completely blind.  Voyage (lower left) is a charting of the journey of the mind and Mindscape (lower right) shows how my brain perceives my imagination on a physical level.

Growth of an Idea (lower left) is a depiction of how the mind's eye imagines the germination and development of ideas.  Flowering Scar (lower right) depicts how the scar on my blind eye expanded and created it's own logic - a creative one.  Sleep (right) shows the physical switched off as time passes and the kingdom of the imagination rules as I dream.
